Almost any written content could benefit from proofreading and/or editing. This could include business documents, articles, training materials, academic papers, product descriptions, instructional or informative guides. The list goes on!

Due to my marketing background, I particularly enjoy any marketing-related content.

I will not be able to work on any intricately technical or specialist documents, with the exception of marketing documents. For example, documents that require in depth medical or legal knowledge, as these are not my area of expertise.

You can send documents over via email. I work on either Adobe Acrobat Reader applying comments to PDF documents, or Microsoft Word applying Track Changes to Word documents.

Your document will be returned via email in the same format that I received it (either Adobe Acrobat Reader or Microsoft Word).

Timings vary depending on the scope of the work. Some content can be turned around in 24 hours, other content may take a lot longer. Please get in contact to discuss your requirements. I will always aim to be as flexible as I can in order to meet your individual needs.

If you have your own style guide that you would like applied to your content, then please advise.

If not, I will revert to using the Guardian Style Guide, Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation, and Collins English dictionary.

Prices vary depending on several factors – word count, timescales, the scope of work and complexity of work, to name a few! However, as a guide, my rates start at £28 per hour.
